BCCPA and EngAge BC want to celebrate your volunteers this National Volunteer Week!

Do you have an exceptional volunteer who makes a difference in the lives of seniors at your organization? If so, BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) and EngAge BC would like to celebrate them.

This April 16th to 22nd, National Volunteer Week takes place to provide an opportunity to recognize volunteers for their generosity, commitment and positive impact in their communities.

Share your stories with us! Please contact Jamie Lozano, Media and Communications Specialist by Wednesday, April 12, and let us know more about your remarkable volunteers. BCCPA and EngAge BC will choose several volunteers to profile during next month’s National Volunteer Week.

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a volunteer opportunity, the Office of the Seniors Advocate is currently recruiting volunteers to engage in meaningful conversations with residents of long-term care homes and learn more about their quality of life. Volunteers are needed across the province, but especially in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond and Delta. Learn more here.
