BCCPA and EngAge BC have featured web content throughout June to celebrate #PrideMonth and we are wrapping up the end of the month with an exclusive video feature resulting from our ongoing Aging with Pride collaborations with Dignity Seniors Society.
In an interview with BCCPA VP Mike Klassen, long-time activist Chris Morrissey speaks openly about the experiences of her and her late partner Bridget with the care system as a lesbian. With great humour and charm, she talks about the importance of having staff and the care environment being queer positive.
