“Ron will bring a fresh vision to EngAge BC’s work and strategic direction. Respected by his peers across the sector and known for his collaborative and creative approach, Ron is the right person to guide staff as they continue to grow EngAge BC’s membership, develop and deliver programs and events such as the Seniors Living Expo, and ensure that independent living and home health members feel supported,” says Terry Lake, CEO, EngAge BC & BC Care Providers Association.
“We would like to thank Melanie Reinhardt for her contributions as EngAge BC’s inaugural Chair, along with each Member Council participant who has dedicated their time to ensuring that EngAge BC has a strong foundation,” he continues.
“Since launching in 2019 EngAge BC has developed Route 65 the Home and Independent Living Training (HaIL) program, and Assurity, has offered learning and development opportunities to our members and has supported operators through COVID-19. Together with the Member Council, I look forward to refining our vision and establishing a clear and distinct path forward. Ultimately, we want to continue to strengthen and support our members while positively contributing to, and benefiting from, the already clear and powerful voice of BCCPA within our sector.” Says Ron Pike, CEO, Elim Village.
“As we emerge from two years of fighting a pandemic, I look forward to celebrating our members, and the benefits they can bring to seniors living in B.C.”
Next month EngAge BC’s Member Council will be holding a strategic priority setting session, facilitated by the Howegroup.
