Northcrest Care Centre celebrates 25th anniversary

Congratulations to our members Northcrest Care Centre on their 25th anniversary held earlier this month! Representatives from the continuing care sector, BCCPA staff and many of our service provider and commercial members, as well as Richmond-South Centre MLA Linda Reid (Opposition Critic for Seniors) were treated to a tour of their beautiful care home and experienced some of NCC’s legendary hospitality.

We learned about their unique student outreach program with a local high school. Expanding dual credit programs to include care aide training has been a core advocacy goal of BCCPA, and it was included in our recent 2020 Budget Submission.
