January is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and home care providers are being invited by the Canadian Home Care Association (CHCA) to participate in a survey which will inform the National Dementia Strategy currently being developed by Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
BCCPA is encouraging providers to take a moment to complete the survey, which seeks a better understanding of the experiences and needs of the people who provide paid care for people living with dementia.
A survey has also been developed for family caregivers which home care providers can share through their networks.
Each survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and will be closed on February 5th.
