In just 20 short years the numbers of seniors living in British Columbia will top some 1.6 million, double the number of seniors in 2013. In fact, by 2030, the year when the youngest baby boomers reach age 65, one in four Canadians will be over 65, making seniors living and care a growing priority for more and more families, governments and seniors themselves.

Today’s older adults are very different from previous generations. They are better educated, wealthier, living longer and, together with their families, are demanding the broadest possible range of products, services care and lifestyles. These fundamental changes are at the heart of next year’s Seniors Living Expo at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Aimed at seniors 60-plus, as well as their families, Seniors Expo will provide some 60,000 sq ft of exhibition and presentation space, as well as on-site opportunities to engage, educate and inform seniors and their families about a wide variety of services, products and programs.

These are exciting and often challenging times for everyone involved in seniors living and care. As a result, the Seniors Living Expo is a practical and timely opportunity to reach out to the growing seniors market and their families, and we hope you can join us next year.

Canada’s Seniors Living Expo happens in Vancouver, September 19-20, 2020.

Exhibitor early bird rates have been extended and a 10% discount will be offered to EngAgeBC and BC Care Providers Association members who book their booths before October 31st. Learn more about the event here.
