2026-27 Care to Chat season kicks off with #HomesNotHospitals

BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) is excited to kick off the 2026-27 season of our popular Care to Chat series with timely discussion in support of our upcoming #HomesNotHospitals advocacy campaign, featuring veteran reporter Rob Shaw.

What will it take to build a sustainable future for seniors living, wellness, and care in British Columbia? As B.C.’s population ages, the need for a long-term vision has never been more urgent. By 2036, one in five British Columbians will be over the age of 65, yet our care system is struggling to keep pace with growing demand.

In this session, members will learn how they can support the #HomesNotHospitals campaign through grassroot advocacy efforts and help champion the message that the right care, in the right place, leads to better outcomes for seniors and the healthcare system.
