Online Workshop: Accessing International Workers Through Immigration

With Canada’s aging population and the associated increase in demand for seniors care, living and wellness services, securing the next generation of health care workers is more important than ever before. However, if the current labour market shortages are any indication, Canada may not be training enough care staff to meet the needs of our frail and elderly seniors.

This interactive workshop will help you understand how to use federal and provincial immigration programs to hire healthcare professionals from abroad to fill positions in BC. Representatives from the federal department of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and from the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) will present on immigration pathways.
