#BCCPA2023 Annual Conference will discuss Ministry’s strategy to strengthen the seniors care workforce

In 2022, the Government of British Columbia released a new Health Human Resources (HHR) strategy that aims to address the healthcare system’s considerable workforce challenges. The four-pillar strategy includes 70 recommendations to improve retention, recruitment, training and scope optimization in B.C.’s health care sector.

Join the Ministry of Health’s Mark Armitage (Assistant Deputy Minister) and Miranda Masson (Executive Director) for an in-depth presentation on the strategies taken to date to strengthen the seniors care workforce, as well as a roadmap for creating the continuing care workforce of the future.
