The Canadian Association of Long-Term Care, also known as CALTC (pr. “CAL-tek”) has launched their own election platform proposals (hashtag: #CareWithUs) and is urging candidates to consider new proposals to better support seniors in long-term care. BC Care Providers Association are proud members of CALTC, and support the proposals put forward by this organization. In addition to their platform (available in English and French), CALTC has produced a compelling video featuring the voices of family members who have loved ones in care in communities from across Canada. There are several voices from B.C., and we encourage everyone to view and share this video, that is linked here.
