EngAge BC to hold independent living town hall on June 17

This spring, in what felt like one fell swoop, COVID-19 quickly forced retirement living communities to move from full and vibrant dining rooms, chair yoga and in-residence spas, to in-suite meal services, socially distanced balcony workouts, and DIY hairstyles.

While these impacts will not last forever, the sector is faced with adapting to a new reality and preparing for a potential second wave of COVID-19.

On June 17th from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. EngAge BC will be holding a virtual town hall to seek member feedback on what best practice looks like in independent living. Please join us to share your thoughts and hear from your peers on the following topics:

  • Plans for allowing visitations
  • Dining room and culinary considerations
  • Showing suites
  • Welcoming new residents during a pandemic

Registration is required.
