In early April the BCCPA hosted a special homecare member roundtable. It was the first time in our history that we’ve invited all of our home care and home support members together to talk about how we can better integrate their issues into future planning.

The three-hour session focused on areas the BCCPA could work on to support the future growth and financial sustainability of our members. Some of the topics included accreditation, self-regulation, improving funding models and human resources.

Our goal is to hold at least a couple of these types of consultation sessions per year to gather feedback and seek advice on how we can better serve the needs of our members. The suggestions gathered at the session will be summarized and incorporated into an all-day Board of Directors planning session scheduled for June 25th.
