Digital health technologies are emerging as a powerful solution and transforming care delivery in homes across Canada.\nJoin Dr. Philippe Voyer, award-winning geriatric nursing expert, researcher, and author part of Université Laval’s Faculty of Nursing, as he explores the characteristics of high-quality long-term care settings, the technologies being used in the field and the keys to successful implementation. Move from insight to impact and lead the way in shaping the future of care.\nAbout the Presenter\nPhilippe Voyer, RN, Ph.D., is an award-winning geriatric nursing expert, teacher, researcher and author from the Faculty of Nursing at Universite Laval. Recipient of the Minister of Education’s Award and the SIDIIEF Recognition Award, he actively contributes to health innovation. He received the Award for Excellence in Nursing Research from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (2007) and the Florence Award from the Ordre des infirmieres et infirmiers du Quebec in the nursing research category (2010).\nHe is also the lead designer of the RADAR tool, which is designed to detect signs of delirium and is available in eight languages. He has participated in several technological projects aimed at improving care for seniors, including remote monitoring for chronic disease management, the implementation of advanced technologies in nursing homes, the development of applications for medication adherence and the implementation of fall detection systems.\nIn addition to his books and more than a hundred scientific articles, he ensures that recent knowledge on aging is disseminated through his newsletter, webinars and social networks.
