Announcing BCCPA’s 2018 Annual Conference theme
The BC Care Providers Association is excited to announce Shift Happens! as the theme for its 2018 Annual Conference in Whistler.
Shift Happens! will zoom in on the global shift in the model of care from acute to home and community. By exploring best practices and new models of care and technology, the 41st Annual Conference will highlight ways to support this shift, and how a culture of innovation through new technologies and person/resident-centered care can preserve quality of services, access to services and equity of health outcomes throughout the continuing care sector.
“The theme for next year is going to look great on branded t-shirts and ball caps” laughs Daniel Fontaine, CEO for the BCCPA. “Given the major shift in demographics, our approach to care and where we focus our resources, Shift Happens! just seemed like a natural fit.”
The 2017 Annual Conference, which also celebrated BCCPA’s 40th anniversary, had a record attendance of over 500 attendees, including service providers, commercial delegates, exhibitors, and government officials from Canada and beyond.
Inspiring and motivating workshops, high-profile opening and closing keynote speakers, engaging networking events, and a dynamic tradeshow make the BCCPA annual conference the premier event to promote your goods and services.
BCCPA’s growing membership includes over 300 residential care, assisted living, and home care members from across British Columbia and Canada. Our members employ more than 20,000 people and provide care for over 27,000 seniors each day.
Over 260 key decisionmakers are expected to attend including owners, operators, senior management, and board directors from the continuing care sector.
