From August 24-26, the BCCPA will be hosting the CALTC (Canadian Alliance for Long-Term Care) Annual Meeting to be held in Whistler. Each year a different region is responsible for hosting the event. Last year the strategy meetings were held in Southern Ontario.
Once again this year, Elaine Price, Vice President, will be participating with me in CALTC’s deliberations. Several of our board of directors will also be attending as observers. CALTC is an alliance of continuing care associations, like BCCPA, from across Canada.
A number of interesting topics and workshops have been planned over the course of two days. I will report out via our website regarding some of the key items discussed.
